Char Dham Group Tour Itinerary​

Day 1 – Start Drive From Rishikesh to Barkot

  • The Char Dham Yatra will commence from Rishikesh. Take the assistance of our tour representative at Rishikesh Railway Station or Bus Station in the morning.
  • By Bus or Tempo Traveller, reach Barkot, which includes a lunch break during the journey to Uttarkashi.
  • Arrive in the evening at your hotel in Barkot. Have dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2 – Drive for Janki Chatti and Visit Yamunotri Temple

  • Drive 36 km early in the morning to Jankichatti. Breakfast will be at Janki Chatti.
  • From Jankichatti, start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Dham.
  •  The Pony and Palki facility is available for convenience. The trek provides a picturesque route along dense green forests, presenting a rich mix of flora and fauna.
  • On arrival at Yamunotri, check into the hotel. After resting for a while, go to the Yamunotri Temple and then assemble for the evening Aarti at the temple.
  • Have an overnight stay at Yamunotri.

Day 3 – Back to Janki Chatti and Drive for Dharali

  • Early morning, trek back to Jankichatti.
  • Have breakfast in Barkot, and then go on a 110 km drive to Dharali, which is the winter seat of Maa Ganga.
  • On reaching Dharali, check into the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 4 – Visit For Gangotri Temple and Drive for Uttarkashi

  • Drive 10 km early in the morning to Gangotri Temple. Go to the temple for prayer.
  • After Mandir Darshan, drive to Uttarkashi town. It is about a 100 km drive.
  • Arrive in Uttarkashi in the early evening, explore around the town like Vishwanath temple, Manikarnika Ghat, etc.
  • Check into the Hotel and Rest tonight here.

Day 5 – Drive from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

  • Get Up Early in the morning and drive today long route today. It is approximately a 200 km long route.
  • Along the way, you shall traverse some of the green landscapes, temples and hill stations such as Dhari Devi, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, etc.
  • Arrive in Guptkashi in the evening and check in at the Hotel. Take some rest, wake up early and go to the eveningarti at Vishwanath Temple.
  • Tonight, stay in Guptkashi.

Day 6 – Drive Guptkashi to Guarikund and Trek to Kedarnath

  • Early morning from the hotel and drive towards Gaurikund, it is about a 40 km drive. It is the point where the Kedarnath Yatra begins.
  • Have breakfast at Gaurikund. Test your energy and get prepared to take a 14 km trek.
  • Walk gradually and arrive at Kedarnath in the evening, and stay at the hotel.
  • Rest for a while and join the evening arti and pooja at the temple.
  • Following a long, intense day, Tonight is at Kedarnath.

Day 7 – Trek back to Gaurikund and Drive for Guptkashi

  • Wake up early in the morning and attend the temple for morning aarti.
  • Following the Kedarnath Darshan, depart from the hotel and hike back to Gaurikund.
  • from Gaurikund drive to Guptkashi, tonight overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 8 – Drive from Guptkashi to Badrinath

  • Today is also a long drive day. Have your Breakfast and drive to Badrinath.
  • Arrive at Badrinath in the early Evening and stay at the hotel.
  • Visit the Badri Vishal temple for the evening arti and darshan of Pooja.
  • Tonight, rest at Badrinath.

Day 9 – Explore Mana and Drive to Joshimath

  • Wake up and have a sacred bath in Tapt Kund. Visit the Badrinath temple and receive the blessing and pray for your family.
  • Have your Breakfast. After it, let’s explore the First Village of India, “MANA”.
  • After spending time in Mana, drive to Joshimath. It takes 1 hour.
  • Visit Narsing Temple and Check into the Hotel.
  • Tonight, stay at Joshimath.

Day 10 – Drive From Joshimath to Rishikesh

  • Today is the Last day of this Journey. Collect all the memories and pack your bags.
  • Take your breakfast. All set to drive to today’s final destination, Rishikesh. Start your journey with beautiful landscapes.
  • Arrive at Rishikesh Bus/Railway Station in the evening. This Journey will conclude here.
  • All the transport (Bus/ Tempo Traveller) throughout the Char Dham Group tour (Rishikesh to Rishikesh).
  • 2 Meals daily: Dinner and Breakfast.
  • Accommodation will be according to the package (Rooms will be shared in twin or quadruple rooms).
  • Entry charges associated with Char Dham Yatra.
  • Registration for Char Dham Yatra.
  • GST will be additional to the government slab.
  • All personal expenses and Food (snacks) while traveling.
  • All the travel and personal insurance.
  • Any type of entrance fees anywhere, unless stated are not included.
  • Cable car, Helicopter, train fares, and air ticket fees.
  • Mule and Personal Porter, and a pony for trek.
  • The packages applicable are liable to alteration without any prior notice.
  • Taxes, according to the Government notification.
  • If Any Pilgrim doesn’t accompany the tour, kindly inform us 15 days in advance, otherwise, they will have to pay the entire booking fee.
  • Check-Out Time at the hotel is 11:00 AM, and Check-In Time is 01:00 PM.

Best Time to Visit

Char Dham Yatra generally starts in April/May and goes on until October/November. May to June and September to October are the best months for an uninterrupted pilgrimage as the weather remains fine.
