The starting point of the trek is Solang Nala, which is easily accessible from Manali by road. From Solang Nala, the trek takes you through dense forests of oak, pine, and deodar trees. The trail is well-marked and moderately challenging. You will come across several streams, waterfalls, and small villages along the way. After trekking for around 6-7 hours, you will reach Dhundi, which is the base camp for the Beas Kund trek. The view from the top is simply breathtaking. During this period, the weather is pleasant, and the trekking trails are clear of snow, making it easier to navigate. The monsoon season in Himachal Pradesh starts in July and lasts until September, and during this time, the region receives heavy rainfall.
