Valley of Flowers Overview
Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,658 meters (12,000 ft), the Valley of Flowers is a paradise for adventure seekers, botanists, and photographers. This mystical valley transforms into a colorful carpet of over 600 species of alpine flowers during the monsoon, with streams, waterfalls, and snow-clad mountains forming a picturesque backdrop. The trek is moderately challenging, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced trekkers.

Valley of Flowers Itinerary
Day 1: Rishikesh to Govind Ghat
Meet at Natraj chowk, Rishikesh early in the morning. After that we start our journey towards Govind ghat. Enjoy the Scenic drive along Alaknanda river, passes Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Joshimath. Enjoy a delightful breakfast en route to Joshimath, surrounded by stunning mountain views. we reached Govind Ghat by 6 o'clock
Day 2: Drive Govind Ghat to Pulna and trek to Ghangaria
Start your jouney early morning. Trek Route: Drive to Pulna → Trek to Ghangaria Stay: Guesthouse/Camp in Ghangaria Difficulty: Easy to Moderate; pony/helicopter optional Tip: Stay hydrated, avoid exertion on first altitude day
Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers and back
We start our trek after breakfast. Highlights: Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Valley of Flowers, spot Brahma Kamal, Blue Poppy, etc. Difficulty: Moderate Time Needed: 7–8 hours (round trip with exploration) Tip: carry ID card
Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back
Highlights: Visit sacred Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib & glacial lake. Difficulty: Challenging (steep ascent). Tip: Start by 5 AM, carry glucose, warm clothes, and rain gear.
Day 5: Ghangharia -> Pulna -> Govind Ghat
After breakfast, we start our trek towards pulna which is 7 km steep descend. From Pulna, we board a vehicle that drops us at Govind Ghat.
Day 6: Govind Ghat -> Rishikesh
After Breakfast, we start our journey towards Rishikesh. Enroute we had ''Happy Meal'' which is provided by our Firstrek Team. We reach Rishikesh by 5-6 PM.
