Detailed Itinerary
Day 1- Drive Rishikesh → Joshimath
Drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath, a journey of approximately 10 hours. Enjoy scenic views of the Ganges. Upon arrival in Joshimath, settle into your accommodations and prepare for the trek ahead.
Day 2- Joshimath → Dhak → Guilling Top
After breakfast, drive to Dhak and start your trek to Gulling Top, gaining altitude to 2900 metres. The trek takes about 4-5 hours and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Cross Tugasi village experiencing local culture, before reaching Gulling Top. Settle into your camp for the night.
Day 3- Gulling Top → Tali Forest Camp
Today’s trek from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp via Khullara takes approximately 4-5 hours, covering a distance of 6 km. The trail winds through forests, providing opportunities for photography. Arrive at Tali Forest camp, where you'll spend the night.
Day 4- Tali Forest Camp → Kuari Pass via Khullara Top → Back
Prepare for a challenging yet rewarding trek to Kuari Pass today, reaching an altitude of 12,516 feet. The journey from Tali via Khullara to the Kuari Pass and back is about 10 km and takes around 6-7 hours. Stare at panoramic views of the majestic Nanda Devi and surrounding peaks. Return to Tali for another night's stay.
Day 5- Tali Forest Camp → Joshimath via Garson Bugyal and Auli
Trek from Tali Forest Camp back to Auli via Garson Bugyal, then drive to Joshimath. The trek covers around 8 km and takes 5–6 hours. Enjoy the descent through beautiful landscapes, eventually reaching Auli. After a well-deserved lunch, drive back to Joshimath, where you can relax and enjoy a warm meal at your hotel.
Day 6- Joshimath → Rishikesh
On your final day, depart from Joshimath to Rishikesh. The drive takes approximately 9-10 hours.
