Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Dehradun to Pantwari → Trek to Base Camp
Your journey begins early from Parade Ground, Dehradun (6:30–7:30 AM) with a scenic drive via Mussoorie and Kempty Falls to Pantwari Village (4–5 hrs). After lunch, begin a 4–5 km trek through charming village trails, terraced fields, and oak-rhododendron forests. After 3–4 hours, reach the Nag Tibba Base Camp (approx. 2,300 m) surrounded by serene alpine views. Enjoy evening tea, sunset views, a warm bonfire (weather permitting), and overnight stay in tents with dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Base Camp → Nag Tibba Summit → Back to Pantwari → Dehradun
Start your day early with a warm cup of tea and begin the trek to Nag Tibba Summit (3,022 m). The 3.5 km trail takes around 2–2.5 hours through beautiful oak and rhododendron forests. On reaching the top, enjoy stunning 360° views of Himalayan peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kedarnath. After spending some time at the summit, trek back to the base camp for a well-earned breakfast. Post breakfast, descend to Pantwari village, which takes about 2–3 hours. From Pantwari, drive back to Dehradun, reaching by evening (approx. 6:00–8:00 PM), marking the end of your refreshing weekend trek.
