Rupin Pass Trek
₹17,500per person
Overview
Rupin Pass is a 6-day high-altitude trek from Jiskun to Sangla, topping out at 15,380 ft. Each day shifts dramatically—cliff-side village paths, fragrant fir forests, riverbank traverses, rolling meadows, and the iconic multi-tier Rupin Waterfall where you camp below and then above it. A pre-dawn push on snow and scree leads to the saddle, followed by a long, technical descent to Ronti Gad and onward to Sangla. Expect real Himalayan drama: hanging valleys, thundering falls, flowered thaches, and big-sky panoramas. The route is demanding yet rewarding, ideal for fit, sure-footed trekkers comfortable with steep climbs, exposed sections, and variable surfaces (rock, snow, mud). Camps are scenic but windy; nights run cold, so layering and hydration discipline matter. Best windows are May–June (some snow) and Sept–Oct (clear, crisp). Come for the variety, stay for the journey—Rupin feels less like a trail and more like an unfolding story across two mountain cultures.
