Kagbhusandi Lake Trek

The Kaagbhusandi Trek is a hidden gem in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, leading to the serene Kaagbhusandi Lake nestled at an altitude of 4,500 m. The lake holds immense mythological significance in Hinduism — it is believed that Kaagbhusandi, a wise crow from the Ramayana, resides here, narrating tales of Lord Rama’s life.

The trail passes through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and birch, leading to vast alpine meadows and high mountain passes. The backdrop features majestic peaks like Nanda Devi, Hathi Parvat, Ghori Parvat, and Chaukhamba.
