Day 1- Drive Rishikesh → Govindghat

Begin your journey from Rishikesh, driving through the scenic Himalayan landscape to reach Govindghat, situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Spend the evening exploring the charming town and preparing for the trek ahead.

Day 2- Govindghat → Ghangaria

Start your trek from Govindghat, following the Pushpawati River through dense forests and across suspension bridges. Ascend gradually to reach Ghangaria, a picturesque village nestled at the base of the valley. Relax and acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 3- Ghangaria → Valley of Flowers → Back to Ghangaria

Embark on a 4-kilometer trek to the enchanting Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the vibrant carpets of alpine flowers, including the iconic blue poppy and Himalayan rose. Spend time exploring the valley before returning to Ghangaria.

Day 4- Ghangaria → Hemkund Sahib → Back to Ghangaria

Challenge yourself with a steep ascent to the sacred Hemkund Sahib, a Sikh pilgrimage site situated at an elevation of 14,400 feet. Witness the stunning Hemkund Lake and the surrounding glaciers before descending back to Ghangaria.

Day 5- Ghangaria → Govindghat → Rishikesh

Retrace your steps from Ghangaria to Govindghat, either by trekking or hiring a pony. Take in the breathtaking views of the Alaknanda Valley one last time before bidding farewell to the mountains. Drive from Govindghat to Rishikesh.
