To begin the game, the stones are stacked on top of each other, with the largest stone at the bottom and the smallest stone at the top. One player from the attacking team throws the ball at the stack of stones, trying to knock over as many as possible. If the player successfully knocks over any stones, they must retrieve the ball and then run to touch a designated spot before the defending team can retrieve the stones and rebuild the stack.

If the attacking player is successful in knocking over all the stones, they earn points for their team. However, if the defending team is able to retrieve the ball before the attacking player touches the designated spot, the attacking player is out, and the game continues with the next player.
