Drive Manali To Gulaba Meadow Camp (Altitude: 10,300 ft) : 22 Km
Gulaba is on Manali Rothang pass road.
Trek to Gulaba Meadows : 3 km, approx 1.5 hr
Meeting time at Manali at 12pm
To reach Gulaba campsite by 5:00 pm Start trekking to Gulaba Meadows at 3:30 pm, a steep ascent throughout the trail Accommodation in tents.
Trekking : 6 km, Time-taken : approx 4 hours.
The first 1.5 hours is a steep ascent and then a gradual ascent to the campsite, via Kolang Nallah The trail passes through the virgin forest (silver oak, cedar, and birch trees) with views of Manali.
The night stay will be at Rola kholi.
We start early in the morning as the trail today is a long and steep one. As we trek to the lake, the trail changes color from green to brown and to white (in winter). The participants are requested to be extra cautious today because the path is through boulders and scree. Once we reach the lake, the view is breathtaking because of the frozen lake (frozen almost in every month). If you happen to visit the lake during the summer, you will find grass and tiny alpine flowers surrounding the lake. After spending some time at the lake, we retrace our steps back to our campsite at Rola Kholi.

Today, we will trek back to the trailhead at Gulaba and board our vehicles for the drive to Manali. Expect to reach Manali by 4 pm. This could be delayed by heavy traffic in the peak summer months, so book your return from Manali late at night. The trip ends in Manali.
