The base camp for the Brahmatal trekking is Brahmatal itself, which is around 28 kilometres from Lohajang. The trek from Lohajang to Brahmatal is relatively easy and takes around 5–6 days. - Usually, we take a maximum of 12 - 15 people in one group. We believe bigger groups have less fun and less coordination so that’s why we prefer smaller groups. We need at least 8-10 people to operate our fixed departure tours/treks.

- As the Brahmatal trek is known as a winter trek, it is best done in the months of December, January and February. However, during late March and April, the rhododendrons run a riot on this trail. Catch the sight of a variety of red, pink, and white rhododendrons during these seasons.

- Himalayan water is considered the purest water and safe to drink. But for safety purposes, we sometimes boil the water and then use it for drinking and cooking. In case you find any clean water on the trek, always fill your water where the water is running not where the water is stable or is in rest
Q.9 How difficult is Brahmatal Trek? What kind of physical fitness will be required to do Brahmatal Trek?
- The difficulty level is moderate for the Brahmatal trek and you will be covering a total distance of 22km. The Brahmatal trek difficulty level is considered as an easy to moderate trek with a mix of steep and gradual ascents. But for that, you need to prepare yourself. For this, you can start jogging every day and then cycling for some time. Always take the stairs without any breaks which will help you to keep fit. Also, start with brisk 10 minutes walk every day and then some physical exercise like stretching. You can also do some yoga every day to regulate your breathing properly.
Q.10 I cannot carry my rucksack/bag on the trek, can I offload it?
- We always recommend that you carry your rucksack during the trek because it helps in maintaining your body posture. In case you cannot, then we can provide you with a mule/porter to carry your rucksack. You will have to tell us at least 1 week before the trek. The charges for offloading would be INR 300 per person per day.

We went for the bramhatal trek, with justwravel from 3rd to 11th december. it was the best trip i ever went on, we even had rasgullas and gulaabjamuns at 11000 feet. honesty you couldnt have asked for anything more. Everything was organised, every travel was taken care of.
