The trek, or Lord Curzon Trail is a popular trekking trail in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, known for its stunning views of the Himalayas and the beautiful meadows of Auli. This trek typically takes around 6-7 days to complete, covering a distance of approximately 30-35 kilometres. The trek begins from Joshimath and takes you through the beautiful meadows of Auli. The first leg of the trek is a steep climb up to the Gorson Bugyal, which is a beautiful meadow located at an altitude of 3,056 meters above sea level. The meadow is surrounded by dense forests and offers breathtaking views of the Nanda Devi peak and the Dronagiri range.

From Gorson Bugyal, the trek continues towards Tali Top, which is a small meadow located at an altitude of 3,386 meters above sea level. The meadow is surrounded by dense forests and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. From Tali Top, the trek takes you through the beautiful forest trails toward Khulara, which is a small camping site located at an altitude of 3,400 meters above sea level.

From Khulara, the trek takes you toward the Kuari Pass, which is located at an altitude of 3,658 meters above sea level. The pass offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is the highest point of the trek. From the Kuari Pass, the trek descends towards the beautiful village of Tapovan, which is located at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level.

The trek ends at Tapovan, from where you can travel back to Joshimath and then to your respective destinations.
