Today we will drive up to Panthwari village which is approx. 85kms from the city which will take us 4 hours. We will go via Mussoorie, Kempty falls, and Nainbagh. The road is smooth and the long drive with your favorite music is all we look forward to. We will leave early in the morning so that we could climb up to Khatian base camp which is 4.5 km from the village.
On reaching Panthwari, we would grab our lunch and immediately head towards Khatian Base camp. The route till here would be well constructed and easy to walk. Crossing through forests and wild we will reach our first base camp by the evening.
After breakfast, we will leave for Naag Tibba top.
It is an easy yet a little steep climb to the summit approx. 4kms. On reaching the top you would see snow-covered mountains from all over and have a majestic sunset view in the evening. We will camp here today and also have enough time to organize activities, play games, cook, set up our camps, and still be left with time to enjoy the silence of the hills.
Wake up early to see a beautiful sunrise and breathe in the fresh air. Pack your stuff and start descending towards Panthwari. After a downhill hike of 8 km, we can have our brunch here and leave for Dehradun.
