Timmersain Mahadev is a sacred cave located in the Niti village of the Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The temple is located 700 meters from the main highway, just 1 km before Niti village. The temple is located at 82 km from Joshimath.

You can visit in the month of March-April to take the darshan of Baba Barfani at Timmarsain Mahadev Temple, It is the best time to see Baba Barfani. In the summer months from May to October, anyone can visit here.
Permission for the TrekAll pilgrims planning to visit Timmarsain Mahadev Temple must submit completely filled application form at Tourism Office, Joshimath 2 days before their visit. There will be medical check-ups of pilgrims before the yatra to Baba Barfani Timmarsain Mahadev Temple. Only 25 pilgrims are permitted Per day for the Timamrsain Mahadev Temple yatra.
Start early from Joshimath and drive to Niti village (approx. 2 hours).
Visit the ancient Nanda Devi Temple, Ganesh Mandir, and explore the beautiful village of Niti.
From Niti, trek to Timmersain Mahadev temple (approx. 1-2 hours). The trek is a moderate-level trek and offers some stunning views of the Himalayas.
Spend the evening at the temple, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the natural beauty around.
After spending Some time here Back to Niti Village and Stay at a Guest House or Homestay.
Wake up early and witness the sunrise from the Niti Village.
After Breakfast drive back to Joshimath.
On the way back, you can stop at the picturesque village of Marwari, Ghamshali, and Tapovan and explore their traditional houses and architecture.
Reach Joshimath by evening and spend the rest of the day exploring the town.
